Barrel #1 - 6yr, 58% Alc/Vol, DIST 2/25/13, BOTT 2/13/20, MB 95/5 – 117btls
On the nose, caramel sauce, vanilla candy, wintergreen, and orange peel with a touch of black peppercorn. On the palate, bold spice takes over in the form of cinnamon and wintergreen as sweeter flavors of caramel and vanilla percolate underneath. The finish is nice with vanilla and caramel up front before quickly transitioning into citrus, cinnamon, wintergreen, and black pepper. A classic spice forward Rye.

On the nose, wintergreen leads with an underbelly of caramel candy, vanilla bean, citrus, and ground cinnamon. On the palate, red berry and citrus lead with a base of wintergreen and vanilla underneath. The finish is lovely with sweeter flavors and spice fading together in unison. A friendly Rye for sipping.

On the nose, rye spice leaps from the glass with caramel, toffee, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. On the palate, dehydrated orange segments and wintergreen lead alongside red berry and cinnamon sticks. The finish is solid with fruit fading into Rye and oak spice. A bold and well-structured Rye.

On the nose, wintergreen and cinnamon candy lead with caramel corn, red berry, vanilla wafer, and oak spice underneath. On the palate, Rye spice is in charge with black pepper and hot cinnamon as sweeter flavors linger in the background. The finish is nice and spicy after a small crescendo of sweet berry and citrus at the beginning, before spice arrives for a prolonged ending.

On the nose, hard caramel candies, dark chocolate powder, dill, cinnamon stick, vanilla candy, and anise. On the palate, orange peel and baked apple with wintergreen lead with vanilla and caramel sauce underneath. The finish is lengthy with spice fading into butterscotch and vanilla before cinnamon returns and lingers. Just a gorgeous Rye.
Barrel #6 - 6yr, 57.5% Alc/Vol, DIST 12/2014, BOTT 6/01/21, MB 95/5 – 132btls
On the nose, cinnamon and vanilla paraffin with mint oil, dark chocolate on toffee-butter, and freshly ground clove. On the palate, mint and dried pear lead with a lush underbelly vanilla cream, caramel wafer, and oak spice. The finish is long and warming with spice outlasting sweet ever so slowly. A gorgeous Rye for sipping neat, dangerously drinkable.
